Ayurvedic Treatment for Hairfall & Skin

Ayurvedic medication for skin allergies and hair illness is supplemented with a skin and hair care routine and home remedy tailored to the condition. Chemical-based cosmetics, extreme heat or pollution, stress, and a lack of appropriate nutrition can cause dosha imbalances, resulting in acne, pimples, black heads, wrinkles, dark spots, premature greying, hair loss, alopecia, psoriasis, eczema, hives, and vitiligo, among other skin and hair issues. What appears to be a little issue may have deeper underlying reasons that have an impact on your entire health. Ayurveda can be of assistance.

Hair and skin

Vitiligo

Vitiligo, also known as Leucoderma, is a pigmentation condition in which the skin's melanocytes (pigment-producing cells) are destroyed, resulting in white skin and white patches. White patches occur on the skin in various regions of the body as a result. Mucous membranes (tissues that line the interior of the mouth and nose) and the retina both have similar patches (inner layer of the eyeball). Hair that develops in Vitiligo-affected regions occasionally becomes white. The most commonly held belief is that depigmentation develops as a result of Vitiligo being an autoimmune illness, in which the immune system attacks the body's own organs or tissues.

Urticaria

Urticaria (Hives), also known as Sheet-Pitta in Ayurveda, is a skin condition characterised by red, itchy, raised skin patches of different shapes and sizes. This can have symptoms that are comparable to allergies or angioedema. Hives come in a variety of shapes and sizes, including circular, ringed, and huge areas. This skin condition can affect any part of the body, including the trunk, arms, and legs. Histamine is responsible for their production (the substance that plays a major role in many allergic reactions). Histamine causes blood vessels to dilate and their walls to become unusually porous. It also causes fluid leakage from local blood vessels, resulting in skin edoema.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a common skin disorder that involves fast skin cell generation, resulting in red, itchy scalps and thicker skin patches. There are two sorts of it. It's called palmar psoriasis when it affects the palms, and plantar psoriasis when it affects the feet. The fast build-up of skin cells is considered to be the cause of the dry flakes and skin scales. The skin of the elbows, knees, and scalp are often affected by psoriasis. Psoriasis can be brought on by a number of factors. The importance of heredity can't be overstated. If one parent has psoriasis, there is a 15% risk that the child may have it as well.

Hair Fall

Hair loss and premature white hair are caused by stress, worry, anxiety, and poor nutrition. As old strands are replaced by new, a certain percentage of hair loss is considered natural. When there is a lot of hair loss, it's important to be cautious. Similarly, while hair greying with age is a natural occurrence, when it begins in the early years of life, it is important to seek out solutions to prevent white hair and encourage natural hair regeneration.
Fried, sour, spicy, salty, and fermented foods, as well as tea and coffee, exacerbate the Pitta Dosha (Ayurvedic humour that represents Fire) in the body.Pitta builds up in the epidermis of the scalp, causing hair to fall out and grey prematurely. Excessive rage and stress are additional factors to consider. Pitta is often aggravated by excessive alcohol and meat eating.

Allergies

Allergies are an immune system response to chemicals that the body misidentifies as dangerous. An allergic reaction occurs when the immune system overreacts, and the chemicals that trigger it are known as allergens. Allergic responses show as eczema, hives, hay fever, asthma, and food allergies, which are all prevalent skin and respiratory diseases. Allergy therapy in Ayurveda begins with identifying each patient's unique underlying cause.

Dandruff

Dandruff is a condition in which the scalp sheds an excessive amount of dead skin. A modest amount of flaking is typical as skin cells die and peel off. With most cases, the scalp skin dies and flakes off after a month, however in Dandruff sufferers, this happens every 2-7 days. In addition to being a medical ailment, dandruff is linked to social and self-esteem issues in many people. You may get rid of the problem with appropriate care and Dandruff treatment.
Anti-dandruff home remedies can be successful in minor cases, but if there is an underlying reason, root-cause therapy tailored to your body type and current health issues is the way to go.

Tinea

A fungus causes ringworm, which is a skin illness. The skin on your body (tinea corporis), scalp (tinea capitis), groyne region (tinea cruris, also known as jock itch), and feet (tinea pedis, commonly known as athlete's foot) can all be affected by ringworm. Ringworm can appear in many places on your skin at the same time.
Tinea versicolor infection may strike anybody, regardless of their age or gender. Thighs, trunks, shoulders, and backs are frequently infected. Tinea can be treated with easy home remedies obtained from an experienced Jiva doctor in minor cases; but, to avoid recurrence, it is important to seek medical treatment for the infection's core cause as soon as possible.

Eczema

Eczema is a skin condition marked by itching, rashes, swelling, irritation, dryness, and peeling. The skin itches, and scratching it causes a rash. Vicharchika is the name given to this illness in Ayurveda. Itching may also happen when the immune system is out of whack, which is why it's commonly linked to other allergic diseases like allergic asthma, hay fever, and so on. Genetics, debility, climate, and psychological factors can all predispose a person to the disease.
